Lynnette Mackey, the owner of Vita Fontis Holistic Health, is a native of northern Minnesota. Over the past ten years, Lynnette has lived, travelled and studied in Europe and parts of Asia. In completion of her Bachelor's Degree in Natural Health from the University of Natural Medicine, Lynnette travelled to Beijing, China to study foot reflexology and to Taipei, Taiwan for an internship. In Taiwan, Lynnette discovered the Asian Steam Bath and arranged to have it imported. In May 2008, Lynnette established Vita Fontis Holistic Health, introducing the first Asian Steam Bath to Grand Rapids, as well as the United States. In late 2010, Miss Mackey returned to a deeper exploration of yoga and other techniques for better health in Asia. Currently, she has settled in to offering her knowledge of yoga in the Chiang Mai provence of Thailand.
